Danilo Bandiziol (Sproule) will talk about:

‘Navigating PRMS: Commerciality & Discovery Thresholds in Resource Assessment’

Abstract
The Petroleum Resources Management System (PRMS) framework serves as a fundamental guide for the categorization and classification of hydrocarbon reserves and resources. This presentation delves into the essential aspects of the PRMS, and the critical considerations surrounding Commerciality and Discovery thresholds. The presentation will explore the key components of the PRMS classification, emphasizing criteria and methodologies. A detailed analysis of Commerciality and Discovery thresholds will shed light on the classification differences between Prospective Resources, Contingent Resources and Reserves.
