Salma Ben Amor (Mazarine)

Abstract
The story started with a Dutch start-up company that acquired operator shares of an
exploration project in Tunisia to make 3 successive discoveries out of 3 wells shortly after its
first 3D seismic acquisition. A multi-disciplinary and multi-scalar studies have been
implemented to evaluate the 5 identified plays in the basin and a second 3D acquisition
campaign is ongoing to further de-risk these plays, upgrade the identified leads to drillable
prospects, develop the new discoveries to producing fields and maximize the hydrocarbon
recovery of the currently producing reservoirs. The lecture will expose Mazarine adopted
exploration evaluation workflow and the way-forward to grow Mazarine position in Tunisia.
